RULES AND REGULATIONS

INTERIM USE OF SPRING WATER RANCH LAKES:

All rules will be STRICTLY ENFORCED, and any person violating these rules will be suspended from use of the lakes! The right to fish will be on a year-to-year basis. The following rules will apply.

 

  1. NO MINNOW OR OTHER LIVE BASS BAIT WILL BE USED! Crickets and worms for bream fishing are allowed. 

  2. CATCHES: Lake Morrow: Rules on Keeping Fish-For Each Fisherman - Each Day: Florida Bass- We want you to keep 3 bass, 18 inches and under. Release the rest you catch. Channel Catfish- At your option and if you want to eat them, you can keep up to 3 catfish. Release the rest. Bream - Keep all the bream you catch regardless of size. All Other Lakes: Keep Bass 15" in length and under (approximately 2#) and release Bass over 15" in length. You may keep any trophy bass that you would like to mount. We would like a picture of you and the bass. (Recommended by our fish biologist). You are not allowed to remove any bass over 15" in length for the purpose of putting the bass in other (a non-SWR) lakes. Keep all bream (regardless of size) that you catch - Limit:  Not to exceed number set by State

  3. NO trout line (s) may be used.

  4. Electric motors only may be used, except to load or unload bass boats.

  5. DO NOT discard any trash, cans, or other debris onto the grounds, and in or around the lakes.

  6. No overnight camping permitted without prior written permission.  A permission card will be issued. Request to present said card at anytime while camping, may be asked... so keep card with you while camping.

  7. We do allow Boy Scout troops to camp in the area - Special Permission Required!

  8. Each prospective fishing member must fill out an application. We reserve the right to reject any application.

  9. This will be a "limited" membership.

  10. All gates must be left as you find them.

  11. Life Preservers (cushion or chest) are required for each person in a boat.

  12. Members (s), family and guests (s) agree to hold owners free from any accident that might occur on the premises.

  13. Any guest, in excess of membership definition, must be approved in advance and a fee of $20.00 per person per day will be charged.

  14. MEMBERSHIPS ARE AS FOLLOWS:  (EFFECTIVE 2/01/2009)

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP - Man/wife & children, 21 & under (Parent required with children) & one guest

MEMBERSHIP FEES:  VISA/MASTERCARD ACCEPTED!

  1. CABIN RENTAL: There os one cabin available for rent.  Rental Fee Must Be Paid in Full One Week (7 Days) in Advance With No Refund on Cancellations Made After That Date. All Garbage Must Be Carried Home By You! NO Burning Of Trash On Grounds! The Club House Is To Be Clean When You Leave! For NON-Cleanup or NON-Trash Removal, a $50.00 Clean-Up Fee will be assessed to your account and must be paid before renewal will be processed.  Please call the office for the current rental rates.
  2. Gravel Based RV pads available with water and sewer hook-ups;  $ 20.00 per night; call for reservations.
  3. PLEASE report any rule violations you observe to our office. We will NOT divulge the source of this information. Working together, we can produce Trophy Bass and enjoy the outdoor recreation these lakes can provide.
  4. All Members Will Be Required To Display( Dash Board; Bumper or Boat Trailer) Their Membership Card or Decal When on Premises. All Boats Left on Premises must have a decal on the boat or the boat will be considered abandoned and removed from the premises.
  5. Signature for the WAIVER AND RELEASE AGREEMENT is required for membership to be granted.
  6. Also, for and in consideration of the fees paid and the membership granted herein, the applicant gives Springwater Ranch Fishing Club any and all rights to any pictures of the applicant and fish caught at Springwater Ranch Fishing Club. This is a voluntary act on the part of the applicant and applicant may submit pictures to Springwater Ranch Fishing Club as they desire. Springwater Ranch Fishing Club reserves the right to use or reject any pictures submitted.
